On this page we want to show you only a part of unusual beauty which can be seen either on the temples walls, or in the monastery treasures, in the museum displays, on the pages of various books and historical documents. Each of these small parts of cultural heritage of Montenegro represents also at the same time a part of its turbulent history which was made through a hundred years struggle of Montenegrins for physical and spiritual freedom.
